The Constructivist Learning Theory and Multiple Intelligences Theory provide the guidance for integrating English teaching, learning and evaluation in middle schools. However, it still faces various problems such as teachers, students, and evaluation. In the future, efforts should be made to promote the transformation of teachers’ concepts and improve their teaching evaluation abilities. More attention should be paid to students’ learning engagement, self-evaluation ability, and learning pressure, and it is also crucial to further optimize evaluation standards, methods, and feedback. Based on the integrated practice case of teaching evaluation in the eighth grade English textbook of People’s Education Press, it can provide suggestions for promoting the reform of junior high school English teaching.
