This article is a psychological counseling report of a college student suffering from anxiety. The Client induced a negative mood due to a sexual traumatic experience in adolescence, which eventually aggravated the anxiety symptoms and generalized. According to the situation of the client, the counselor used supportive psychodynamic therapy and sandplay therapy to help the client repair trauma, relieve anxiety, build confidence, and develop new ways to interact with others and more flexible and adaptive ways to regulate mood. After twelve consultations, the client walked out of the psychological shadow, the mood was stable, the anxiety tolerance was significantly improved, the social scope was expanded, the quality of sleep improved, and the consultation effect was good.
