A survey of 666 middle school students was conducted by using the happiness scale and
the positive psychological quality subscale of Chinese middle school students, and the independent
sample t test, linear correlation analysis and stepwise regression analysis were used to explore the
relationship between middle school students' desire quality and their sense of happiness. The results
show that: (1) There are significant differences in gender and grade in the desired quality of middle
school students; (2) There is a significant positive correlation between hope quality and positive
emotion, and a significant negative correlation between hope quality and negative emotion; (3) It is
expected that quality can positively predict positive emotions and negatively predict negative
emotions.
