This article presents a case report on the application of the Move to Emptiness Technique (MET) in addressing fear in a high school student. The client recently experienced intense fear, which was particularly strong in dark environments, affecting their normal study and life. The case involved a total of three counseling sessions: an initial interview, a MET session, and a follow-up session later on. The first session was an initial interview to understand the client's situation. During the second session, the MET was employed to address the client's primary symptom of fear, with the impact score reducing from 8 to 0.5, indicating a near-complete disappearance of symptoms and sustained efficacy. A follow-up session was conducted one week later, during which the client reported that the previous issue had been resolved and they were now in a good state of study and life. This article documents the processes of the three counseling sessions and the counselor's reflections.
