This study aims to explore the effect of sandplay therapy on the sleep problems of college students. A survey was conducted on 300 college students at a certain university in Beijing using the Self-Rating Sleep Scale (SRSS) to select 10 students with sleep problems as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into two groups, with 5 people in each group. The control group received no intervention, while the experimental group received individual sandplay therapy once a week for a total of 12 weeks. After the intervention, the SRSS was administered to both groups. The results were obtained by comparing the pre-and post-test data and the changes in the number of trauma-related themes and healing-related themes. The findings show that sandplay therapy has a significant effect on the sleep problems of college students.
