Jung’s analytical psychology, based on Freud's psychoanalytic theory, extended the concept of the unconscious to the collective unconscious, the main content of collective unconsciousness is the prototype, which is the most important part of analytical psychology. And the prototype was once considered far from our lives and clinical work. This article attempts to study and discuss the prototype image of fathers through the observation of clinical treatment work, preliminary analysis of how the self becomes Self under the influence of the father’s prototype image in different stages of male psychological development.
