This study aims to investigate the applicability of emotional therapy for vocational school students’ emotional counseling and to reflect on the case process of psychological counseling in technical colleges. Based on the principles of emotional therapy, we employ effective techniques (ABC therapy) to assist clients in improving their adverse emotional states, diminishing irrational beliefs, and altering negative thought patterns, thus achieving our initial treatment objectives. Furthermore, we enable them to actively implement long-term plans, thereby helping vocational school students to enhance their personalities and actively engage in their learning and daily lives, ultimately leading to improved mental health. This case serves as a reflection on the application of emotional therapy in addressing emotional issues among vocational school students.
