Crisis Intervention in a Case of Middle School Student Suicide — Practical Implementation of the Integrated Response Mechanism of “Family-School-Community-Institution”
This study reports a case of psychological crisis intervention in a middle school girl’s attemptedsuicide. After the incident, the school, community, family, and professional psychological serviceinstitutions worked together to promptly and effectively complete the psychological intervention workfor the party involved and her parents, as well as relevant teachers and classmates in the school. At thesame time, various measures were taken to ensure the party’s safe and smooth return to school. This case demonstrates the importance and effectiveness of the integrated response system of “family-schoolcommunity-institution” in the psychological crisis intervention work of middle school students, andsuggests that in the process of crisis intervention, attention should be paid to the comprehensiveness ofthe work objects and the continuity of the work scope.
