This study is about application of digital storytelling (DST) in college students’ emotional management. It reveals that the DST is very important in students’ psychological counseling and crisis intervention. By recruiting students to participate in our DST course, to produce and share digital stories of their own, good communication status was established. The results show that: 1. By choosing video tools independently, students can easily get involved and communicate with each other more smoothly; 2. Using digital storytelling can help students to relax; 3. Students can cope with the impact of setbacks with positive attitude; 4. The relationship with family and classmates are getting close, and they cherish present life more.
