Psychobiographical Therapy, as a recent development in the field of domestic psychobiographyresearch within the counseling domain, still awaits further enrichment at the practical level. This casestudy employs psychobiography therapy for psychological intervention on a university student withdepressive emotions. During the counseling process, through the four steps of “listening to stories,telling stories, reading stories, and writing stories,” the usage steps of psychobiography therapy are fullypresented. The counseling outcomes are evaluated through “life story analysis, thematic analysis, andcontent analysis.” The results indicate a significant improvement in the visitor’s depressive mood, whilealso showcasing the guidance significance and practical value of psychobiography therapy in the currentChinese school psychological counseling work.
