Affected by factors such as the internet and the real environment, epidemic prevention and control, and changes in college employment in recent years, the number of college students in ordinary vocational colleges in China has been increasing year by year. In order to clarify the true motivation and influencing factors of vocational students behind their enrollment, as well as the contemporary significance and requirements of psychological education for mental health educators in universities, we aim to improve students' mental health levels to cultivate their self-esteem, confidence, rationality, and peace A positive and healthy mindset has become a top priority. College mental health educators urgently need to play a precise role in the "six in one" mental health innovation education pattern of education and teaching, prevention and intervention, practical activities, consulting services, platform guarantee and institutional improvement. Universities should enhance the psychological education abilities of mental health educators and counselors in terms of enhancing their political standing, consolidating professional training, strengthening practical cultivation, and ensuring a collaborative system, in order to better play their role as the main body of psychological and ideological education in universities, and promote the coordinated development of students' psychological health quality, ideological and moral quality, and scientific and cultural quality.
