Inspired by the existentialism and phenomenology of European philosophy, humanistic psychology has established the ideological tendency and theoretical framework of mutual recognition. However, there has always been the division of two orientations represented by Rogers and Rollo May. ἀe controversy between the two orientations on the good and evil of human nature, psychological motivation and the essence of existence led to the diḀerences in their theoretical direction and treatment methods. However, along with the movement of psychological integration, humanistic psychology also began to integrate in its theory and treatment, especially in some key issues, such as the existence of good and evil, the transformation of emotions in speciᴀc situations and the mutual complement of humanity and nature, which showed an obvious trend of integration, promoting the continuous development of humanistic psychology.
