With the development of society and the intensification of competition, preparing for postgraduate exams has become a choice for more and more college students. However, this process not only involves great pressure, but also is often accompanied by anxiety and depression, which has a significant impact on the physical and mental health of postgraduate students. This article selected a student from our school as a case study to investigate and help with their anxiety and depression during the preparation process. We should recognize the existence of anxiety and depression symptoms in the process of preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination, and explore some effective ways to alleviate them, such as positive psychological intervention, appropriate entertainment and relaxation activities, and shaping a positive attitude, in order to protect the physical and mental health of postgraduate students, improve the efficiency of preparing for the examination, and successfully achieve their life goals.
