MET is a psychosomatic technique with the goal of guiding psychological empty land. There are different levels of psychological empty land, Beyond-Distance movement is a means of operation to reach that state. Guiding clients to psychological empty land can be done in a variety of ways, either by moving forward in the spatial dimension or backward in the temporal dimension, and so on. By demonstrating these two cases of Beyond-Distance movement in MET process, this paper tries to explore more ways to guide clients to psychological empty land and hopes that more MET counselors will participate in this discussion.
