This paper is a case report of the application of Move to Emptiness Technique (MET) in the treatment of burn pain. The visitor was accidentally burned by gasoline and burned about 97% of her body. The visitor had two consultations in total, one initial interview, and the second for the next day using MET. The target symptom was the pain in her back, and the symbolic object was a large white mane, the symbolic carrier was a white plastic box. The pain went down from 7 to 1 after treatment using MET. The curative effect was remarkable, the visitor’s back pain basically disappeared and she felt emotionally relieved, and was willing to cooperate with the doctor’s follow-up treatment. One week later, the impact degree went down to 0, and the curative effect remained good. This paper shows the consultation process of MET in detail and the author also includes some personal reflections on this case.
