I’ve long been plagued by fear. In order to understand the source of fear in my mind to find ways to deal with it and to help others who are also victims of the same problem, at the meantime, to explore the effects, strengths and difficulties of using the Move to Emptiness Technique (MET) as a psychotherapy technology, I used an perceptual and experiential approach to feel my own fear and used MET to deal with it. Through the 3-month study period, I used MET to deal with fear for 7 times, out of which 6 times were successful. In terms of curative effect, one time was clinically cured and five times were significantly effective. The practical results of this study proved that the method of using MET to help oneself deal with fear is feasible and effective. In the 6 successful experience, the average score of the pre-test was 8.25, and the average score of the post-test was 1.25. The post-test score of influence was significantly lower than the pre-test. Psychological empty land, as the goal of MET, also got me a relaxed and calm feeling.
