This is a case report of consultations with a patient who had difficulty falling asleep by using Yikong Skill. The client suffered from chronic insomnia and difficulty in falling asleep. Four times of Yikong consultation were conducted to deal with the client’s four target symptoms: anxiety about sleeping, headache when unable to sleep, fear of darkness, and worry about not sleeping. The curative effect was effective once, obvious effect twice, and clinical recovery once. All consultations were followed up later, and the prognosis was good. This paper records the consultation process and discusses how the technique can solve insomnia and the ideas of traditional Chinese medicine included in the technique.
