The client is a freshman of junior college. A negative life event during the winter vacation led to her bad mood and irritability. She often couldn’t concentrate in classes and sometimes had stomachache. These symptoms had been lasted for nearly a month. It is confirmed that she has unreasonable beliefs such as extremely bad, which is a general psychological problem. After recognizing the reason, the counselor used cognitive behavioral therapy to help the client to correct her unreasonable cognition, establish reasonable beliefs. At the same time, combined with mindfulness-based eating training, the counselor helped her to try effective attempts. The consulting effect was obvious.
