intervention process of a depressive college student with suicidal tendency and behavior; Through the five
steps of establishing relationships, understanding the situation, focusing on problems, solving problems,
and properly summarizing, the transformation of “once for all results” has been realized. This study
suggests that in order to achieve the results of once, counselors should adhere to the idea that attitude is
more important than technology, including the use of various effective verbal and non-verbal behaviors to
convey empathic understanding, adhere to the problem-solving orientation, adopt flexible strategies, and
explore and reveal the positive characteristics and internal resources of visitors.
