This article reports a case dealing with a womans negative emotions result from the derailment of her husband by the application of Yikong skil(Technique of moving symptom-images into nothingness). The client believed it was not herself but her husband that should be responsible for their marriage issues when she firstly came to the psychological counseling. Yikong skill were performed three times in this case; we focused on the hurt feelings caused by the derailment in the first time and the pressure accumulated in the daily life events in the other two times. In the third treatment, the therapist had led the client to the Emptiness, after which the client's mental state and attitude towards life events have changed greatly, she thinks she can own her life and is willing to improve the relationship with her husband by changing herself. Using the Yikong skill to manage negative emotions has proved to be effective and quick. This paper then discusses how therapists could crystallize their thoughts and establish suitable therapeutic relationships in their application of Yikong skill.
