This study used BNT (Brain Function and Mental State Assessment Test) technology to evaluate
the brain function and mental state of a visitor before and after the consultation. The target symptom of
the visitor was shoulder tension, and the self-evaluated influence was 7 points before the MET( Moving to
Emptiness Technique), and 0 points after the self-evaluated influence. The results of the BNT evaluation
showed that the scores of the visitor’s brain load, emotional pressure, degree of relaxation, and ability to
empty their thoughts all had significant changes. The results of the BNT evaluation and the self-evaluation
results of MET technique are basically consistent and they provide a more comprehensive evaluation.
Whether the BNT technology can provide a tool for the objective evaluation of the efficacy of MET based
on the neurophysiological level still needs a large sample study.
