The client was diagnosed as borderline personality disorder by herself. The counselor assessed
the suicide risk and conducted crisis intervention in time. Based on the narrative therapy, the counselor
listened to the client’s “problem story”, used the externalized dialogue technology to help her describe the
problem, deconstructed the problem, and found exceptions at the same time, used the rewriting dialogue,
reshaped the dialogue of members and witness dialogue to expand the narrative perspective, developed
the branch story, riched life story. Through 15 consultations, the short-term consultation goals of the
counselors were partially realized.
