In order to research the social psychological service needs of employees in enterprises and
public institutions and explore the effect of single session group counseling in satisfying their mental
health service needs, this study provided single session group counseling service for 123 employees in
enterprises and public institutions, and conducted a test by using the self-compiled questionnaire on
mental health service needs and satisfaction evaluation form. The results show that: 1. The characteristic
of mental health service demand of employees in enterprises and institutions is “providing one-time
experience activities outside the unit during working hours”. 2 single session group counseling has a good
effect on the knowledge and skills, self-satisfaction, interpersonal interaction, group satisfaction and other
aspects of employees in enterprises and institutions. 3. Interpersonal interaction is significantly correlated
with work effectiveness, interpersonal relationship and stress response. Therefore, single session group
counseling is an effective way to satisfy the social psychological service needs of employees in enterprises
and institutions.
