Abstract Objective,to discuss the correlationship between the general happiness of public security police in border areas and responding style. Methods, for the analysis on the general happiness sense of the police and their way to deal with it,we conducted a test that 664 policemen were measured by the overall happiness scale and the simple coping style scale. Results, The overall happiness sense of the public security police is above the medium level, and the public security police of different ages, educational levels, marital status, length of service, and work-related sources show diversities in overall happiness and responding style scores ( p <0.05), and it is statistically significant; In the study of the correlation between overall well-being and simple coping styles, the overall happiness score is positively correlated with positive responding and negatively correlated with negative responding. Stepwise regression analysis find that positive coping, negative coping, age, source of work, and marriage are all factors that affect the overall well-being of the police. Conclusion ,the overall well-being of policemen in frontier areas is closely related to the simple responding style,in which the active responding style can benefit the well-being of policemen in a large scale.
