This article is a case of applying the Technique of Transfer to Nothingness to treat a case in which a student returned to China during the epidemic and was depressed at home without being able to concentrate on completing his master’s thesis. By resolving the negative emotions through symbolization the client was able to visualize and remove the negative emotions that he was suppressing. Since the negative feelings of the patient were related to earlier family events, the counselor presupposed that it would be difficult to transfer the negative feelings to nothingness at once. However, the treatment is extremely effective and long-lasting, as the negative emotions are processed and healed in a single session of the Transfer to Nothingness Technique. In addition, the Mind-Body-Breath relaxation relaxation also played an important role, and client was able to concentrate more quickly on high-quality literature reading on the same day after the treatment ended, with good one-week follow-ups. This paper will discuss and reflect on how earlier repression can be cured at once through the Transfer to Nothingness Technique
