Objective: to understand the main difficulties and experiences of college student workers in home-school cooperative psychological education through qualitative research and put forward new work thinking. Methods: 20 front-line instructors and student secretaries from Shanghai universities were interviewed individually, the interview data was coded based on the bottom-up content analysis technology and was classified and subject extraction based on the research topic. Conclusion: 1. the main difficulties of home-school cooperative psychological education in Colleges and universities included: (1) parents' lack of sense of cooperation, (2) parents' difficulties in facing up to students' problems, (3) students' unwillingness to intervene from their parents, (4) instructors' lack of motivation and energy in home-school cooperation, etc. 2. The main experiences of home-school cooperative psychological education in Colleges and universities included: (1) paying attention to communication methods, (2) focusing on the common problems of psychological education, (3) adhering to the reasonable boundaries of home school cooperation, etc. Finally, four suggestions were put forward: (1) popularizing the common sense of mental health and enhancing the sense of home school cooperation; (2) strengthening the training of psychological skills and paying attention to the communication strategy between home and school; (3) expanding the platform of home-school cooperation and integrating the resources of psychological education; (4) reasonably applying laws and regulations to ensure the development of home school cooperation.
