This paper described the psychological counseling process of a college graduate, Mrs. Chen, who failed to obtain her bachelor of medicine due to failing to pass her English examination, which causing her depression, anxiety, poor sleep, loss of appetite, easy crying and no willingness to work. By collecting data and evaluating symptoms, we diagnosed her as general psychological problems. After 4 times of psychological counseling, we found the student's mood was improved obviously, her sleep was improved, her appetite was increased and her unreasonable beliefs was eliminated, new rational beliefs were established and her ability to bear setbacks was enhanced. Finally her confidence in life was rebuilt. Good counseling results were achieved. Through follow-up visits, it is found that the consultation has basically reached the desired goal.
