The sense of community is based on a specific community, which shows up as the members’
satisfaction and sense of belonging. It includes at least three parts: community identity, needs satisfaction and
emotional experience. According to the nature of communities, the sense of community can be divided into the
sense of locality-based community and the sense of relational community. According to the complexity of the
sense of community, it can be divided into macro-belonging and micro-belonging. The sense of community is not
only conducive to meet the needs of the members, but also can promote the stability and development of the
community. The factors affecting sense of community include two dimensions: individual factors and community
factors, both of which are essential in the generation and development of the sense of community. The sense of
community is the common goal of the community and the members of the community. In the process of training,
the members and managers of the community should work together to improve the sense of community most
efficiently and achieve a win-win situation for the community and members.
