A Review on the Influence of Parenting Style on Technology Addiction of Primary and Secondary School Students —Visual Atlas Analysis based on CiteSpace
This paper takes the influence of parenting style on Internet addiction of primary and secondary school students in CNKI database as the research object, uses CiteSpace software to visualize the literature, and analyzes and summarizes the visualization results and literature topics by bibliometrics from the aspects of author and institution cooperation, research hotspots, research trends and so on. In terms of research hotspots: with the popularization of the Internet and mobile devices, Internet addiction is becoming more and more serious among adolescents. Studies have shown that parents’ parenting style may have an important impact on adolescents’ Internet addiction. In terms of research trends, the emergent word chart in this study shows some newer emergent words, such as “family factors” and “self-control”, which may indicate that future research will pay more attention to the role of the family environment and individual psychological factors in technology addiction. The emergence of these terms may indicate that future research will pay more attention to the roles of family environment and individual psychological factors in technology addiction. Meanwhile, as an emerging research hotspot in recent years, the increase in the number of citations for “Internet addiction” indicates that this issue still deserves attention. With the popularity of the Internet and the widespread use of mobile devices, the impact of Internet addiction on adolescents’ physical and mental health has become increasingly significant. Therefore, future research may further explore the causes, prevention and intervention strategies of Internet addiction.
