《列子》之“忘”的五重境界分析

  • 摘要: 本文对《列子》文本中关于“忘”的内容进行心理分析。结果显示,《列子》之“忘”包含五重心性修养境界,分别为:“意之所属,而不自知”的日常之忘;“忘麤忘外”的用事之忘;“上忘而下不叛”的修德之忘;“病忘”的无意之忘;“其觉自忘”“知而忘情”的无为之忘等。这五重境界层层递进、浑然一体,共同构成《列子》之“忘”的心性修养思想。发覆这一道家传统思想对于当代心理教育和心理治疗具有一定的启示作用。
  • This paper conducts a psychological analysis on the content related to “forgetting” in the text of Liezi. The results show that the “forgetting” in Liezi encompasses five levels of the cultivation of the mind and nature, namely: the daily forgetting of “being attached to something in the mind without being aware of it oneself ”; the forgetting in handling affairs of “forgetting the coarse and the external”; the forgetting in cultivating virtue of “the superiors forgetting while the inferiors not rebelling”; the unintentional forgetting of “forgetting due to illness”; and the forgetting in inaction of “forgetting spontaneously when awakened” and “knowing but forgetting emotions”. These five levels progress layer by layer and are integrated as a whole, jointly constituting the thought of the cultivation of the mind and nature regarding “forgetting” in Liezi. Uncovering this traditional Taoist thought has certain enlightening effects on contemporary psychological education and psychotherapy.
