Objective: To explore the relationship between self-control and interpersonal relationship of college students, and the role of positive core schema and perceived pressure in chain mediation. Methods: In this study, 917 college students were tested by the Self-control Scale(SCS),the Chinese College Student Adjustment Scale (CCSAS),the Brief Positive Core Schema Scale and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). Results: There was significant negative correlation between perceived stress and interpersonal relationship, positive core schema and self-control. On the other hand, interpersonal relationship, positive core schema and self-control showed significant positive correlation; Positive core schema and self-control were significantly positively correlated; The influence of college students’self-control on interpersonal1 relationship is not only reflected in the direct effect, but also has a significant indirect effect through the chain mediation of positive core schema and perceived pressure. Conclusion: Self-control can influence interpersonal relationship through the mediating effect of positive core schema, the mediating effect of perceived pressure, and the profound effect of the mediating effect of positive core schema and perceived pressure on interpersonal relationship.
