This study utilized the social adjustment scale, Psychological Resilience Scale, and the Brief Symptom Inventory 18 (BSI-18) to investigate 2162 college students, aiming to explore the relationship between social adjustment, psychological resilience, and depression among these students. In this study, we hope to offer some references for the school’s mental health education efforts. The results revealed that there is a significant negative correlation between social adjustment and depression; similarly, psychological resilience is significantly negatively correlated with depression. Psychological resilience partially mediates the relationship between social adjustment and depression. This provides theoretical and practical guidance for reducing depression and improving mental health of college students.
