The rebellious psychology that college students experience during ideological and political education serves as a significant barrier to enhancing the effectiveness of this education. It is crucial to actively explore the causes and manifestations of such rebelliousness. Additionally, this psychology should be transformed into a warning signal to improve ideological and political education. Strategies should be proposed from three perspectives: the quality of the educators, teaching methods, and the external environment, aiming to reduce and eliminate students’ rebellious psychology while guiding them to establish correct views on life, the world, and values.
