Application of Scene Experience Teaching Method in Primary School Mental Health Education Courses —Taking the Lesson on the Power of the Bystander as an Example
A bystander is someone other than the bully and the person being bullied who knows or observes the bullying to take place. Counselling for bystanders is an important front-end intervention to prevent the negative consequences of school bullying. Situational experiential teaching can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning and obtain good tutoring results. This lesson applies situational experiential teaching to the design of anti-bullying curriculum in primary schools, starting from the perspective of bystanders, through creating scenarios and role-playing, guiding students to understand school bullying, experience the impact of different bystander roles on school bullying incidents, establish a sense of responsibility for active intervention, and practice the STAC strategy to deal with school bullying.
