Objective to explore the real psychological feelings of patients with Elderly tumor patients infected with COVID-19, to understand the psychological problems of patients with Elderly tumor patients infected with COVID-19, and to provide guidance for nursing staff to formulate effective psychological care. Methods Using the descriptive research method, and 10 patients with Elderly tumor patients who had been infected with COVID-19 were selected as research objects by objective sampling method. Patients were interviewed in a semi-structured manner, data were analyzed and themes were extracted based on content analysis. Results Four themes were summarized, namely, experiencing multiple stressors (psychological stress, increased financial burden, and doubts about the effectiveness of vaccines), stimulating positive psychological (positive psychology, increased awareness of selfmanagement at home), psychological conformity, and tending to focus on tumor diseases. Conclusion The psychological experience of patients with Elderly tumor patients after COVID-19 infection is complex. Some patients have Long COVID-19 syndrome and need to pay attention to and take active and effective nursing measures.
