Mencius contains a wealth of aspirational thoughts, and it is of great significance to explore and interpret these thoughts innovatively. “Zhiqi” in Mencius is a composite concept of “Zhi” and “qi”, in which “Zhi” refers to “ambition”, “will” and other psychological qualities, is the expression of “the heart”. “qi” is an emotional emotion, energy, or force that fills the body. “Ambition” is the positive emotion, energy or power of the will and the master to realize the ambition of benevolence and justice, which is rooted in the heart and is in harmony with the way and takes the world as its own responsibility. It has the following characteristics: it is rooted in the innate goodness of the heart, the dominance of the “heart”, the power, the positive or enthusiasm, the sense of social responsibility, the sense of mission.
