Unlike “social anxiety” in the medical field, the topic of “social anxiety” among college students has received increasing attention in recent years, ranging from avoiding socializing to experiencing emotional torment caused by excessive anxiety. In other words, students who experience the phenomenon of “social anxiety” may also have the possibility of social anxiety disorder. Therefore, this article conducted a survey and analysis of the positive psychological qualities of students with “social anxiety” and “non social anxiety”. It was found that there were significant differences between the two in the cognitive dimension (p=0.035<0.05), courage dimension (p=0.009<0.01), and moderation dimension (p=0.017<0.05). From the perspective of improving positive psychological qualities, universities should attach importance to psychological education and counseling work, improve the curriculum system, innovate teaching methods, and provide personalized psychological support and group activities.
