Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive stimulation that can be used tostudy the cognitive processes of the brain. High-frequency TMS can achieve the purpose of treatingneurological diseases by changing the synaptic activity of the cerebral cortex to affect the excitabilitylevel of the cerebral cortex and improve the neural activity of specific brain regions. TMS is an effectivetool for studying working memory mechanisms. Using TMS to intervene in working memory of patientswith mild cognitive impairment (MCI) can improve the processing speed of working memory tasks andimprove the memory ability of MCI patients. It also has a good intervention effect on the overall cognitiveability of MCI patients.
