The Impact of Family Environment on Depression among College Students: The Chain Mediating Effect of the Interpersonal Relationship of Dormitory and Psychological Resilience
To investigate the role of the chain mediation of interpersonal relationships and psychological resilience in dormitories in the influence of family environment on depression among college students. This study conducted a questionnaire survey on 331 undergraduate students and found that there was a significant negative correlation between family environment and interpersonal relationships in dormitories, as well as depression, and a significant positive correlation with psychological resilience; There is a significant negative correlation between interpersonal relationships and psychological resilience in dormitories, and a significant positive correlation with depression. There is a significant negative correlation between psychological resilience and depression. Family environment can significantly negatively predict depression. Conclusion: Dormitory interpersonal relationships and psychological resilience play a chain mediating role in the impact of family environment on depression among college students.
