Creativity is often viewed as an ability that is beneficial to social development and personalgrowth, helping people to create ideas and products that are both innovative and useful. However, thereis a dark side to creativity, in which malevolent creativity is consciously used by individuals to harmothers and carry out destructive activities. This creativity driven by malicious purposes has more negativeimpacts on individuals and society. Adolescence is a key stage in the development of individual creativityand an important period for improving mental health and well-being since research on malevolentcreativity has important social value. Therefore, we discuss how to intervene in implementing malevolentcreativity behavior in adolescents regarding emotion, personality, and environment. We are able to adoptstrategies to improve the mental health literacy of adolescents.
