In recent years, the mental health problems faced by the public security police have graduallyattracted the attention of the society. As front-line law enforcement officers, they often face high-pressureworking environments and complex psychological challenges, resulting in some police officers withmental health problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). As a mental health interventiontool based on mobile applications, PTSD Coach has been widely used and researched internationally.This article discusses the application prospects and adaptability of PTSD Coach in China’s public securitypolice through researches, with a view to providing more effective mental health support for publicsecurity police. In view of the fact that PTSD Coach has not been widely promoted in China and thedifferences in cultural background and working environment, through an in-depth understanding ofthe current situation and needs of PTSD of China’s public security police, the construction of a Chinese,localization and posterization “three” model can be built in a targeted set of PTSD Coach’s mental healthsupport system conforms to the characteristics of China’s public security police. To sum up, the promotionand application of PTSD Coach in China’s public security police and its adaptive transformation are ofgreat practical significance and theoretical value. Through the study of the “three modernizations” model,it forms a mental health support system that is more convenient for the police to understand and closer tothe life of the police.
