The purpose of this study is exploring the impact of parental support on subjective wellbeingin middle school students, and explore the role of family contingencies of self-worth between thetwo. Through random sampling, 320 middle school students were investigated, this using the “ParentalSupport Questionnaire”, “Middle School Student Happiness Scale”, and “Middle school students’ familycontingencies self-worth scale”. Using the statistical methods such as correlation analysis, regressionanalysis, and other ways to process data. The results of the analysis are finally displayed: (1) Parentalsupport and subjective well-being has a significant correlation. (2) There is a significant correlationbetween parental support and subjective well-being, including family integration, family condition, andfamily relationship. (3) The right of family integration to self worth partially mediates between parentalsupport and subjective well-being.
