This paper reviews the research on campus climate perception in China in the past eight years,and discusses the definition of the concept, research objects, scale dimensions and the relationship withacademic performance, bad behavior and mental health problems. Despite the progress made, thereare still limitations in the research, such as insufficient attention to the college students, unclear scaleapplicability, etc. Future research should pay attention to the perception of campus climate of collegestudents, verify the reliability and validity of the assessment tools, and explore its relationship with mentalhealth. The ultimate goal is to find effective interventions through empirical research, improve the campusclimate, and promote the all-round development of students.
