College freshmen are in a transitional stage from being immature to becoming mature, andare more prone to psychological distress and even psychological problems. Therefore, it is importantto carry out mental health education for college freshmen. In this era of information and networking,it is inevitable for mental health education to shift from the traditional “one-way input” to the modern“two-way interaction”. Two-way interactive mental health education should create a good mental healtheducation atmosphere by enhancing service awareness, interacting with students equally, discovering andsolving students’ psychological needs, exploring the flipped classroom teaching mode, and mobilizingstudents’ enthusiasm for participating in mental health education, so as to improve students’ willingnessand action to seek professional help.
