Entrepreneurs are the organizers and backbone of enterprises and play an important rolein economic prosperity. Entrepreneur’s personality not only affects the decision-making process ofenterprises, but also affects the development direction of enterprises, which has a direct and importantcontribution to the success of enterprises. Exploring entrepreneur’s personality can enrich andsupplement the theory of behavior decision-making, and provide a basis for improving the scientificityand rationality of entrepreneur’s decision-making in China. In this study, the research on entrepreneur’spersonality traits at home and abroad was sorted out and summarized by the method of scope review, andthe measurement and research status of entrepreneur’s personality in different dimensions were sorted outand analyzed according to the characteristics of related research. Summarized the academic backgroundof studying the personality traits of entrepreneurs in China, as well as the research status at home andabroad, and pointed out that there are still some areas worthy of improvement and further research.Conclusion: In recent years, great progress has been made in the study of entrepreneur’s personality, butthe existing measurement tools are often general and can’t systematically evaluate various characteristicsof entrepreneurs. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a more integrated questionnaire that combines theactual situation of entrepreneurs.
