Objective: Taking middle school students from a certain junior high school in Hubei Provinceas an example, this study explores the relationship between positive psychological qualities and meaningof life. Methods: A survey was conducted on 309 middle school students using the Positive PsychologicalQuality Scale and the Meaning of Life Scale. Results: (1) The average score of middle school students inpositive psychological qualities and meaning of life were 3.82 (M=3) and 5.02 (M=4), respectively. (2) TheF values of positive psychological qualities and meaning of life on the grade dimension were 11.929 and74.572 (p<0.001) respectively. (3) The correlation coefficient between positive psychological qualities andmeaning of life was 0.684 (p<0.01), and the regression coefficient was 0.648, with positive psychologicalqualities explaining 46.7% of the variation in meaning of life (p<0.001). Conclusion: (1) The developmentlevel of positive psychological qualities and meaning of life in middle school students is relatively good.(2) There are significant differences in positive psychological qualities and meaning of life amongmiddle school students on the grade level. (3) Positive psychological qualities are significantly positivelycorrelated with meaning of life and positive psychological qualities can positively predict meaning of life.
