The mental health of female employees in universities not only affects their own development
and family quality of life, but also has an important impact on the construction of a harmonious campus,
so it is necessary to actively pay attention to their work pressure and mental health, and provide them
with all-round help and support, so that they can actively and effectively deal with the contradictions
between work, career and family. This study conducted a survey on the work stress and mental health of
399 female employees in a university, and found that there were different degrees of work pressure among
female employees of different ages, different working years, different professional titles and different job
positions. There was a significant positive correlation with depressed mood on all five dimensions of
the work stress scale, and the significance reached the level of .01. In terms of social support, subjective
support and utilization of support were significantly negatively correlated with all dimensions of work
stress.
