The middle school stage is a crucial period for the development of life, as well as the cultivation
of psychological quality and personal abilities. It has extraordinary significance for the shaping of the
personality and the formation of values of middle school students. At the same time, the psychological
state of middle school students is more related to the future development and direction of the entire
country and nation. Therefore, this review is based on a psychological perspective and focuses on the
middle school student community in the macro context of basic education reform. It summarizes and
analyzes relevant research on sense of gain, providing theoretical preparation for clarifying the concept of
sense of gain among middle school students in the future, exploring the structure of factors, analyzing the
current situation, and proposing improvement strategies.
