As an indispensable attribute of the police group, police sub-culture has a profound influence
on work and life of police officers. As a significant aspect of police sub-culture, mental health stigma
(MHS) hinders the will of police officers to seek mental health services, deteriorates their mental health
and even impacts the functioning of public security organization. This paper demonstrates seven trauma
interventions from the respect of MHS, aiming to impair the negative influence on law enforcement
personnel seeking mental health assistance, as well as provide a theoretical foundation for further
research, in order to improve the mental health of police officers and ameliorate the function of public
security organization.
