As one of the important factors that lead to college students’ unnatural death, suicide exerts
a great impact on family integrity and societal stability, and by so far has evoked the great attention in
the society. By analyzing 71 cases of college student suicides, the paper finds that these factors, including
family relationship, negative incidents, mental illness, the personal character and lack of positive
resolutions to difficulties, will probably lead to college students’ behaviors of suicide, and then some
countermeasures, based on these case studies, are proposed to prevent college students from suiciding.
